Facts and Demographics
Mill Creek Elementary School was opened in 1998. The school originally served the entire District's K-3 student population. With the opening of the District's third elementary school (Purple Sage) in 2003, Mill Creek was redesignated as a P-5 school. As the school population grew, the preschool classes were moved to Purple Sage. Mill Creek now serves approximately 650 students in grades K-5.
School Vision
As a staff at Mill Creek Elementary, we are dedicated to teaching lifelong skills to all students utilizing the district curriculum, research-based instruction, and current technology resulting in meeting or exceeding state standards. We believe all children have the ability to achieve and will be challenged to reach their potential. Parents are a vital part of education and are encouraged to be an active partner in their child's learning process. We value diversity and will treat all adults and students with respect. Mill Creek Elementary will promote a safe and positive learning environment with high expectations, good moral values, and strong citizenship skills.
